Like Kroger house brands have for years (at least Simple Truth, Private Selection), Albertsons Cos has now started an Instagram for Signature Select.
They have used some mix of paid placements with "influencers" to raise interest of the account alongside a giveaway for Mothers Day.

Re: Red Lobster Considering Bankruptcy Filing
They sure have spun that the "all you care to eat shrimp" meal is the problem behind all of this. From today, I got a PUSH NOTIFICATION from the Los Angeles Times with this headline. Red Lobster offered customers all-you-can-eat shrimp. That was a mistake If that's behind paywall for some ...

Re: Home Chef
I must say that F&E had ready to heat refrigerated meals that sold like hotcakes. Customers seemed to really love them. A close friend of mine that claims he can't even boil water, this was why he went to F&E in Arizona all the time. He now largely subsists off microwave fare from Target or...

Re: WinCo Expands to Renton
If I still lived in that area, I likely would shift to shopping this location. There's a nice shopping center around it with a lot of boxes and options, plus Boeing right there. About once a month we would make a trip to WinCo in Kent (at the time Edmonds or Marysville hadn't opened) and a browse a...

Re: New Temecula Smart & Final
So sad what Kroger has done to Ralphs. A legacy that started in 1873 and was renowned for its top notch and innovative operations around the nation and indeed even overseas. I remember when I was at King Soopers (under Dillon) we used to trade management teams with them and share best practices. I ...

Re: 🛒 Kroger-Albertsons Merger: National Impact
Not that it matters, but I was served my first online ad in a TV program ("OTT" in industry speak) for how hard the associates at both Kroger and Albertsons Co's. work and that the merger would be best for them. Then it led to the merger website we've posted here previously. I believe it ...

Re: New Albertsons Interior Southern California
I can't find any pictures of any Safeway in Bend on Google or Yelp with anything but lifestyle decor aside from what I uploaded. What you're saying makes sense (isn't that the store where the senseless tragedy occurred?) but I just can't find the pictures. Unfortunately, yes, that is the store wher...

I went back to the pictures I took while the remodel was in progress on the Forum store. I took a couple of pictures in March last year, while they were remodeling. I have them ready to upload but I'm getting a "board attachment quota has been reached" error message. Sometimes I will uplo...

Supermarket Stakeout is back (and at Bashas)
I guess the new ownership was still happy to have the TV production in their parking lots. Now that the show is no longer at 'Marketplace' stores, it appears they've canceled the "you never know what you might get" element when sometimes folks would end up buying a cart with things like bi...

Re: Nordstrom going to Private Equity?
I know Crossroads in Bellevue had a Nordstrom Place Two store for a while, but I don't think it lasted long. After that store closed it got subdivided into smaller stores. The Hallmark store moved into part of the space along with Party City, a Dress Barn that's now gone and Hand and Stone massage....
