Re: New Albertsons Interior Southern California
...Plus don't forget Upland was Colorful Lifestyle which is about a decade old now, obviously Albertsons considers that decor to be outdated now and we can assume it has been retired and will not appear in any future remodels. The new package does nod to Modern It's a decade old on Albertsons/Safew...

Re: New Albertsons baked goods brand
The packaging reminds me of Target's "Favorite Day" line of deserts. Although I don't recall specially branded baked goods, Safeway had "The Snack Artist" and "Marcela Valladolid" brands prior to the Albertsons acquisition.

Re: Rubios Mass Closing
... If you found a real busy, well staffed Rubios they made very good food when compared to other fresh Mex concepts like Chipotle. Unfortunately that almost never happened in the last few years. I think the real underlying cause was over expansion. They got into new areas they shouldn't have like ...

Re: Rubios Mass Closing
...I know little about them other than they seemed to do tons of business in Phoenix when I was there a few weeks ago. They were fast and efficient and the ice cream was great at multiple locations. Staffing level reminded me of In-N-Out which is why I compared them. First time there was only a few...

Re: Do Romano's Macaroni Grill and Mimis Cafe have a future??
I have no idea what's going on with Mimi's. They have locations in 12 different states, but only one location in 6 of those states, and no more than 3 locations in any state besides California. The one here in Greensboro is the only location in North Carolina. Looking at the menu, their prices are ...
