One particular gaping void in Placerville is seafood restaurants. A friend of mine who lived there for many years moved to Idaho recently and was taken aback by the much greater prevalence of seafood establishments.

According to a memo posted on the Kroger Reddit the two-year-old Miami spoke facility will close by May 26. This is one of four (the others being in Groveland (Orlando), Jacksonville and Tampa) covering major population centers in the Sunshine State.

I hope you are right here but I think there are more chains that have been limping along for years now, that may become available in a similar fashion to Winn Dixie. Maybe not on the immediate East Coast, but in other regions, I see a number of such chains... whether or not they want to sell out is...
