The Harvard market QFC started closing earlier due to issues with intoxicated people coming from the area bars and clubs and trying to buy more booze past 2am or when they were already to intoxicated. They also had issues with crowds gathering and fights breaking out, including gun fire. They recent...

Re: H Mart opening two Downtown Seattle locations
I was wondering why the hmart.com website showed no stores in Washington state. That definitely doesn’t help customers, as most like myself will visit hmart.com. They’re also going to be the grocer at the Capitol Hill light rail station transit oriented development being built up on Seattle’s Capito...

Re: More Fred Meyer security issues?

Re: Fred Meyer attempts to curb shrink "a new way"
People load up carts and head for the doors without paying all the time. They often hit during busy times or at 24 hr locations during late times when staff may be doing dual duty cashiering and stocking so they’re easily distracted. This will help thwart these types of thefts.

Re: Safeway closing its Jantzen Beach (Portland, OR) Superstore
Not surprised there’s not much housing near that Safeway and when they replace the I-5 bridge eventually it might be in the way if they need more space.

Re: Albertsons closing 2 Seattle Stores
Greenwood Safeway lacks self checkout which always struck me as odd considering it’s not a small store like lower Queen Anne location. But Greenwood property values are rising fast. Walgreens closed their Greenwood store last year across the street from Safeway. Aurora Probably has lots of shoplifti...

Re: Kmart's Time Is Running Out
Kmart in Burlington WA was opened in 1986 I worked there before it opened and then afterwards. The store is still open but who knows for how much longer.
