Save Mart retreating from Reno would not be a bad idea. Divest what the can to Safeway and pull out.

I recently noticed Save Mart & Food Maxx are now selling sushi at their stores. The california roll was going for $6.99 at Foodmaxx. Their sale pricing at Food Maxx has been a bit better as of late too.

Price increases already happening at Jack in the Box in Fresno. Most combo items went up by around $1. They are going to close dining rooms at 9pm instead of 10pm beginning in June.

Honestly, ODP's future will be as a digital business to business model. As a brick and mortar consumer store, it's pretty much redundant when going against the targets, walmarts, and best buys at this point.

At this point let Office Depot merge with Staples but, it may not be anything more than a band-aid for both chains. Walmart has pretty much sucked them dry with all the office supplies you can buy there. I just think both chains are on death watch at this point.
