Re: Walmart+
I don't know for sure, but I don't think that would work. However, there are lots of non-perishable grocery-type items that you can order for shipping from the non-grocery side of Walmart, so you could always add some of those to reach the $35 threshold.

Re: Macy’s 2020
Actually, the second Macy's was originally a Liberty House. The original Macy's store in the area was in Birdcage Walk, across the street, in the location of the current Target. Two Macy's: original Macy's and former Weinstock's.

Re: Walmart observations
My local store (Duarte, CA) has never been upgraded to supercenter status. I'm not sure if this was a decision by Walmart or because of some restriction from the city, but it's odd. Especially since the manager of my next-closest Walmart (Covina-a supercenter) told me that the Duarte location had on...

Re: Sprouts
I haven't been into my local Sprouts (Monrovia, CA) since the pandemic (because I still don't go into stores), but I always found it to be well-stocked and with friendly employees who were always willing to help you if you needed to locate somethings. And they had great sales on things like produce ...

I guess I'm a little confused about how this all works -- are they contracting with local delivery services for this purpose? I know they have a new partnership with Instacart, but maybe Instacart is actually...

Walmart+
Walmart+ debuted this week. . There seems to be a lot of confusion out here -- people are comparing it to Amazon Prime, which to me is apples and oranges, as the new free delivery benefit in Walmart+ applies to deliveries from stores, not shipping from walmart.com (which is already free for purchas...
