United TX CEO Retires

Reading through this article... the ownership by Albertsons is almost presented like an afterthought. This still comes off very much as its own independent chain.

I didn't realize they had a separate division established post-Albertsons that handled concession operations and that they operate a restaurant inside an events hall. It's also interesting that under Albertsons, United has almost doubled their store count from 2013 when Albertsons bought them--even taking into account stores transferred from Albertsons in New Mexico, North Texas, and Midland-Odessa, and stores acquired from Lawrence Bros., that still accounts for several new builds.

Since they promoted all their sub-divisions in that article, what about August Pies, which United bought last year (at least the recipes)?
