This new Bristol Farms looks more like a Metropolitan Market from Seattle (their sister chain I guess) than the other Bristol Farms I've seen.

They're been using this prototype for a couple years now. As far as I know the last store they opened prior to this was in Woodland Hills. Ironically, it was also originally built as a Vons (and was also a Haggen for a short while)

These two have been under common ownership for a while now haven't they?

Maybe they are sharing prototypes now. Previous Bristol Farms had a more "elegant" feel. This feels modern and sleek. Very much Metropolitan Market.
