Some Portland Safeway hours restored

Guess they realized WinCo was getting pretty busy...
At least the Cedar Mill store is back to 1 am closing time (safe, affluent suburb).
Still opening at 6 am instead of 5.

Still a far cry from when nearly all supermarkets around here were 24 hour operations though. Does Safeway/Albertsons even have any 24 hour stores now?
WinCo is the only one that really comes to mind as 24 hours in addition to convenience stores.

WinCo is the only one that really comes to mind as 24 hours in addition to convenience stores.
Most of NorCal Division is still 24 hours for some reason. Some rural stores aren't, and some higher theft stores in larger areas aren't. Even WinCo has eliminated 24 hour operation at some NorCal Stores in high theft neighborhoods.
