Apparently you can be tested for influenza with a cheek swab. Albertsons is offering it at their Idaho pharmacies for $35.
I'm not sure that they can then 'prescribe' you Tamiflu though, that may require a clinical visit.

Re: Albertsons Pharmacies offering prescription-free tests
This sounds like it could be more profitable for the pharmacies than flu shots if they could get enough people to do it. It sounds like it would take less time and involve less materials, though there is the up front cost of the testing machine.

In Idaho, as of July 2018, pharmacists can prescribe some medications such as strep throat, influenza, cold sore, and cholesterol medications. There is a $30 charge and insurance can be used to pay for it.
This is a good idea as some do not want to go to a Doctor. It is a convenience thing and in rural Idaho some people would have to travel miles to see a doctor. Untreated strep throat can attack the kidneys.
Some Safeway stores in California offer monthly birth control pills prescribed by a pharmacist. This is something that I have only seen at Safeway stores, even though the law allows any pharmacist to do this with the required training.
