Mall Grocery Stores

I have only seen a few grocery stores that have entrances that are completely inside of malls. I think that having a grocery store in a mall is often difficult due to Mall hours. Malls usually are only open limited hours, while grocery stores are usually open 6am-Midnight. Here is a photo of a Safeway in Saskatoon, Canada that is entirely inside of a mall. There is no exterior entrance. You have to go inside of the mall to get to Safeway. I suspect that it has one of those giant garage style see-thru metal doors that slides down when the store is closed.

i remember Southland Mall in Hayward had a Walgreens inside the mall. It closed about 5 years ago. now its a Dollar Store.
