Retail Watchers

Kohls is opening a small format store in Montebello, CA. Construction has started in a former 35,000 sq ft 99 Cent Only Store / former Circuit City. How many of these smaller format stores are they opening? What departments do they not have? Im used to most Kohls around here being 80k feet.

I wonder if Kohl's could end up opening in more struggling malls. They opened a new store at The Commons in Federal Way. WA a while back which seems smaller than most but not quite that small. Kohl's seems to have helped that mall bounce back a bit.
