The hedge funds that own the trademarks for Toys R Us have added Geoffrey's Toy Box pop up stores inside of 600 Kroger owned supermarkets in various states. The stores have 35 different toys.

Kroger always pulls toys in for seasonal, they've done it for the past 20 years. So I will be curious to see if this is an enhancement of what they have done in the past or a rebranding. Usually some dolls, action figures, board games, and the like. Some stores sell the items better than others. Great markdowns in January at stores where the items don't sell well.

There are also Toys R Us branded pet toys that they sell at PetSmart, and so far I am still seeing those on the shelves.
