The newest Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S21 does not have the MST technology. It only uses NFC.

I have tried Samsung pay at Walmart many times and it only works with my Bank of America card. Other bank cards do not work.

I have noticed some Wal Mart Stores have a combination of pinpad hardware types. Some have a Verifone MX915 pinpad only at regular registers. Then at the self checkout they always have the Ingenico pinpads. I am wondering if the results with Samsung Pay may differ on the MX915 vs. the Ingenico pinpad. Since I always use the self checkout I have never had the chance to experiment on one of their Verifone MX 915s.
