Burgerville workers set to vote on unionization

One thing worth noting is that the McDonalds next door is being rebuilt. Burgerville has an opportunity to focus on service as McDonald's increasingly turns to kiosks. Burgerville could use improvement in this area....from my experiences I find this to be a very inconsistent chain. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The first location has voted to unionize. And now, a second location.

I have a mixed opinion on the whole matter. While unions may provide better wages/benefits, Burgerville is already on the high side as far as prices, and their restaurant experience tends to be very inconsistent from one location to the next.

I have to wonder if this could spread to other fast food restaurants though.
