I see Albertsons has named Jim Donald as CEO.
Given his very extensive experience at various quality operations like Starbucks, and even including some time at Safeway back when they were run much better than they have been for the past 15 years, it will be interesting to see what direction things take from here.
I'm not sure how he can solve their pricing issues or their debt level, though.

Miller has retired at least a dozen times. He'll never retire. He'll just move on to his next thing

I think Miller is having too good of a time being involved with every major grocery operator in the US over the past 20 years. Plus that period at Rite Aid. Nobody else has his experience.
