I just helped open store #1! Ask me anything. Sq footage is 18k, although that’s hardly exclusive knowledge at this point :D

I wonder how many more they will open in the next couple of years. Strong backing here.

The focus on the fresh departments seems to be a good way to go.

Looks great. Another place to visit on my next visit home.

Fun fact: A National occupied this site before being replaced by a Village Thrift store.

Not the first time someone's defected from their original grocery chain to find a new one, especially someone who founded the previous chain.

This kind of store seems to be popping up in different places. Chicago already has Potash which runs smaller, and bigger more upscale Eataly which is more of a faux food hall (they also have stores in NYC). DC’s Streets Market runs smaller but is a similar idea and another chain from out of town is planning to open stores in DC, as well. It’s probably more of an
