Mother's Cookies Back On the Shelves

Post by Alpha8472 »

Kellog's has announced that Mother's Cookies are now back on the shelves as of today.

I noticed in the most recent Lucky ad that it had a note about the upcoming release of Mother's Cookies.

Kellog's did a nice job of recreating the cookies right down to the packaging.

I have seen the imitation cookies. They seem like a cheap copy.

I prefer the Mother's Cookies in the authentic package. Kellog's bought the original recipe so they should be just like the originals.

I know Franz bakeries (a local/regional bakery in Washington, Oregon and Northern California that handles a good chunk of the mass-produced baked goods market around here) started selling a pretty good imitation of the Circus Animals cookies not too long ago, but I'm not sure if they started selling them before or after Mother's shut down (I can't recall seeing them before though.) They seem to have imitations of a number of other Mother's cookies as well.
