JCs 5 Star Outlet closing all stores

I was in the Sparks, NV location today and it sure doesn't look like it is closing aside from all the liquidation signs posted. Fully stocked and lots going on.

Looking at the closing list, the Sparks one must be a bit unique in that it isn't in a mall. It is out in the industrial area and is basically a warehouse type store. They added carpet to the clothing areas 5-10 years ago but it has a fiberglass-exposed ceiling and in general feels like a warehouse. It might be 40,000 square feet.

It had Jc Penney outlet signage until a few months ago when these guys put their own sign up. I am kind of surprised they did this given that they announced store closures very shortly thereafter. They also got their own point of sale system going. Very strange. But given the sales decline in the regular JCP Stores, obviously the outlets must have followed.
