David's Bridal has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, saying that their business has been impacted severely by an overall decline in marriages and changes to fashion trends for the people that are getting married (with many people opting for cheaper alternatives to traditional wedding dresses, including buying from thrift stores.)

In actuality, this is their second Chapter 11, making them a member of the Chapter 22 Club, which almost no retailer survives.
