I believe that the Bellaire Blvd. Fiesta was originally a Safeway, as it does maintain the hexagonal sign unique to Safeway stores. The Houston Division Safeway stores had big windows and arches, and I think they were exclusive to that division. I know it's been discussed before. The 9420 Cullen store was a Weingarten in the 1960s, and I believe that one of the Weingarten stores sold to Fiesta in the mid-1980s (most of them went to Safeway).storewanderer wrote:So what did the Bellaire Blvd. Fiesta start as?
