Still looks nothing like a Kroger. Still not using Kroger shelf tags. So weird.

Thing is, Harris Teeter's been adopting more of a format that is like parent company Kroger's Marketplace formula, with larger stores (with more prepared foods, housewares, in-store dining, and even gas stations. This store will be in this format, and there are a few proposed stores up here coming with this format. It's a little more like Wegmans, but about the size of a traditional Kmart (for example).
These do look very nice, and promising (in my book), even if the décor in these stores is a little all over the place. That's pretty much the only thing that is Kroger, maybe except for the disguised "New Lower Prices" ads.

Non-Kroger stores like H-E-B have been pushing toward a 100k+ square foot layout that has nothing to do with the Marketplace layout, which I believe Harris Teeter had been pushing for anyway. The Marketplace format tends to be at least 120k square feet and carry a much greater range of merchandise, including apparel, toys, electronics, etc.
