This Mesa midcentury Safeway building is worth saving, historian says
Column printed in the Arizona Republic
Store is at 827 E Main St in Mesa.

Are we to the point we have to preserve all older "Marina" stores? It sounds like subsidized housing would be a good use of this vacant property. The property is also not in original condition (but seems close) based on Google Street View.

I say it could go both ways. It's a current event about an older building.
