Amazon has many items shipped by Amazon but sold by third party sellers. Many of these items seem very suspicious as if they are stolen items or items of questionable origin.

I bought some n95 masks from Amazon, but they came not in the manufacturer box, but a gray plastic bag. These were the free masks that were being given out for free at pharmacies or other stores.

Remember those big bins of free n95 masks sitting out unwrapped?

This is a big problem with online marketplaces, flea markets, and garage sales.

A very, very old story.
