New owners of Buy Buy Baby and Harmon (two different companies) plan to reopen some stores later this year.

Sounds like they're going down two different paths. Buy Buy Baby 2.0 is going to be smaller stores, although to the new owner's point still more assortment than the "baby aisle" elsewhere. Harmon buyer was a businessman who liked the concept and sounds like he wants to bring back exactly what it was, even the same locations - but sounds like he is only going to open a few of them which I wonder about the viability of. The shocking part is that BB&B management was so incompetent that they just "couldn't handle the distraction" of Harmon despite it being fully profitable.
