EG Group seems to be in an odd state. In addition to various market exists and "sale-leaseback" transactions in the US, they are also shedding assets overseas.
They first sold most of their UK gas stations to Asda (I thought they had bought Asda, I must be confused).

Now the EG Group UK franchise KFC units, as they were the largest KFC franchisee in UK (can't imagine how they got that large with as badly as they run the former Kroger c-stores), are being taken over by corporate KFC.
