CA Fast Food Closures Due to $20 Wage/Fast Food Council

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Questionable what the cause of this is since it is a string of locations many outside CA. Not surprised MOD is closing units. MOD overexpanded and got too expensive. The original MOD up in Seattle/Bellevue 15 years ago was cheap and great. The franchise MODs were very overpriced and just not the same atmosphere.

The MOD near where I live is always packed for dinner even though it's in an awful location in the strip center. We used to go there until the prices became ridiculous. At some point, they will price themselves out of the market.
