Restaurants are embracing sauces as Gen Z demands new flavors.
KFC says Gen Z likes to dip, drench, and sauce everything. I noticed KFC was doing sauced nuggets recently. McDonald's added a Cajun Ranch McCrispy which has a spicy sauce on top of the chicken.
Jack In The Box has been doing sauced and loaded popcorn chicken. Wendy's has been doing different kinds of topped fries with sauces and cheese.
