Re: Save Mart closing pharmacy

How does Kaiser handle insulin and refrigerated items for people on one of their plans but nowhere near a Kaiser pharmacy, like someone in Susanville or Bishop for example? Are they allowed to obtain from a store pharmacy? Kaiser, like many HMOs, has a restricted coverage area based on the county o...

Re: Amazon Halts All New Amazon Fresh Just Walk Out Stores

They make such a big deal of the stores being designed for pickup/delivery, but how do they figure out where their delivery area boundaries are? The new Pasadena Fresh store is around 8.5 miles from where I live, but apparently that's too far away. However, there's a Whole Foods just down the block ...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores

I was trying to find a local store that is offering the new COVID (bivalent) boosters. On the County Health Dept.'s website, they pointed me to my local Rite-Aid, and the listing said "checked 9/10/22." This store was permanently closed in June, well before these vaccines even existed. I ...

IKEA Opens New Planning Studios

These two new stores were announced last year (in Long Beach and Arcadia, CA) but just opened this week. They are around 9,000 square feet. They had one of these stores in Manhattan, but apparently it closed, so these will be the only two design centers in the US now.

Re: Save Mart closing pharmacy

You cannot use a retail pharmacy with Kaiser. I assume you meant that you cannot use a retail pharmacy with a Kaiser prescription and pay the Kaiser co-pay price . But there is no reason you cannot take your Kaiser-issued prescription to any pharmacy and pay the regular price. And back when nearly ...

Re: Terrible Experience With Vons

Well, still no response from an actual human at either Albertsons/Vons or BBB, but I got an automated email from Vons stating "Refund request approved," and they did in fact process a refund for $11.80, which is the amount I was overcharged for the five items that qualified for the Fab 5 p...
