Re: 99 CENT ONLY closing

I've started to carry more cash around due to all the credit card surcharging businesses I encounter now... didn't used to carry any and hate using cash. It is really bad in NV and parts of CA primarily around larger cities with independent restaurants. Don't notice much of it elsewhere yet. I noti...

Wait till the rats start robbing the customers. I can see it now... Rats steal their food off the table, then they leave and go find thieves stole their car. Par for the course.

Re: Sam Ash Music liquidating all 42 stores

One source (oc register) is saying by august Yes a garbage story I refuse to link because of the direct conflict in the article between "no timetable" and "August" which are both stated in the same article and are mutually exclusive statements any low level journalism student wo...

Re: Sam Ash Music liquidating all 42 stores

Sam Ash has announced they will be closing all 42 stores nationwide. No reason given and no timetable. More to come. Wow, that is going to hurt that already distressed corridor of Sunset Bl. near that awful RocknRoll Ralphs. Thank goodness there is massive construction going on around that area.

Re: Walmart to close Health Care Clinics

I know that my independent pharmacy (top rated in West Hollywood) struggles with reimbursements.

He showed me the numbers. He is 1/4 of million dollars behind in reimbursements.

Re: CA Senate Bill 478- "Junk fees" bill

My new routine when dining out (besides checking the bathroom before I order) is to ask about fees. If I do not like the answer I leave. Also, when using my credit card (I never use debit) at smaller businesses I ask if there is a fee. If there is I will walk away 99% of the time. I also will not wi...

Re: 🛒 Kroger-Albertsons Merger: California Impact

The exit traffic is still funneled through that center space area isn't it (or is there a separate exit)? Not really an easy "escape route." Plus the parking lot is so busy... Have they done any remodeling or does this still have Lifestyle decor? I have not been since 2020 and have not he...

Re: Walmart to close Health Care Clinics

Amazon bought an entire chain of doctor's offices called One Medical. Wall Street wanted Walmart to copy Amazon since Amazon seems to be all into the idea of opening doctor's offices. Amazon is losing money on those clinics and is too afraid to admit it. The company is still pushing the subscriptio...

Re: Walmart introduces new private label brand

"The name Sam Walton has always been an integral part of Walmart. I know of a Walmart Neighborhood Market in the San Francisco Bay Area. It used to have what I would call a Sam Walton altar. It had his framed photo and a wooden table with candles, various offerings, and fancy objects. It was in...
