Re: Electronic Price Tags
So what happens when a customer goes to the shelf and sees $2.99, picks it up and goes to the register and it rings up at $3.99? Are there any laws left about this>>>>>> shelf tag must match POS? I think the shelf tag is the shelf tag. Weights and measures laws seem pretty clear. It doesn't matter ...

Re: Sam's reopening Grapevine, TX with zero checkstands but same staffing levels
Now that this has been open a while there is a better article about the program. The employees have a mobile POS system which might help explain how they might help a customer who doesn't have a smartphone etc. without sending them packing. I don't see pictures of the service desk but I would imagi...

Re: 🛒 Kroger-Albertsons Merger: National Impact
Which means there would be no monetary value in renaming them. You're looking at an average as stated in another thread of at least $100K average for new signs that will do what? Leave sales the same at best, or make them worse as the exact phrase above applies - the name change makes customers not...

Re: 🛒 Kroger-Albertsons Merger: National Impact
Safeway banner has a poor reputation in DC/East, Denver, and a marginal at best reputation in Phoenix and Oregon. I think the banner has a questionable reputation in NorCal but people shop it because they find it to be the best option given the alternatives. I actually think it has a more positive ...

Re: Ralphs Fresh Fare..................lol
You should see what they did to the tiny and awful FF in West Hollywood across the street from a fab Bristol Farms. They removed all FF signage outside. The Hughes pylon frame (non oval) remains with an odd sized Ralphs lettering. Worse than that, the outside building lettering was replaced with a ...

Re: Ralphs Fresh Fare..................lol
I can confirm that the new lighting used on this store was LED, and yes the there is a lot of white lighting reflecting out of the signage. There is another Ralphs in East Pasadena on Foothill Blvd (also a former Hughes I believe). This Ralphs was a standard Ralphs for many years. In 2019 the store...

Re: 🛒 Kroger-Albertsons Merger: National Impact
-Albertsons doesn't have a great name in many places (Colorado anyone?)...why would rebranding all of the remaining stores to Albertsons be a sound decision? That's exactly what C&S wanted to do/would do, except also make all the stores worse in the process. The company should have been renamed...

Probably don't have the money to make the food orders for holiday catering.Retailuser wrote: ↑October 29th, 2024, 3:40 pm I just called that location I posted above and they answered but they do not know about the holiday feasts yet (seems odd since that time is coming).
