Re: Raley's announces new Truckee store
Raleys announced on Instagram today that this store will be a new banner titled “Raleys O-N-E”. One standing for Organic, Nutrition, and Education. I’m guessing this will make it similar but much larger than the 5-One-5 store they have in downtown sacramento. Maybe they’ll rebanner that store as wel...

Re: JC Penney Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
A thought about that JCPenney store in Salem. Although Powell's Books has its own set of Covid-19 issues at the moment, I wonder if that could work as a location as they do not have a store in Salem. They did open a mall-based store in Beaverton. I have to agree though that there aren't really many...

Re: Raleys Douglas Blvd Roseville
The listing for this store is no longer active. CBRE appears to have taken over leasing for the entire center (from a local company) and has a new listing for the entire center, with a clear emphasis that Raley's is an anchor. It seems that whatever the worry was about, has been resolved.

Re: JC Penney Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
It might survive if they convert to an outdoor outlet mall. People will travel far and wide for one stop outlet discount shopping. They could add a large outdoor dining area or food court with restaurants. It could be quite successful as it does not rain much in Tracy. The weather is mild most of t...

Re: Raleys Douglas Blvd Roseville
Hopefully they will resolve whatever is going on and get this store the remodel it needs. I would bet Raleys is negotiating with the landlord over dividing the space and subleasing. This store is their largest in Roseville (out of 4, with a 5th officially confirmed this week) and also the least bus...

Re: Raley's opens new flagship store during pandemic...
Actually, I looked into it a bit more, the Land Park location also has a Chocolate Fish rather than a Peet's. So that makes it three, and their three newest stores if you count Folsom Bel Air as new (considering they touched every inch of that store, I'll say it was a bit more than a "refresh&q...

Re: Raley's opens new flagship store during pandemic...
They did it again, this time with a Bel Air in Rancho Murietta. Store looks great and I’m sure they’re glad to be done with the 15kish square foot store they’ve been operating for a few years there. I believe this is the first new Bel Air store since Natomas. Other than the Truckee store and the rum...

Re: Raleys Douglas Blvd Roseville
Raleys probably should have tried to expand to the Central Coast (San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Atascadero, etc.). I think they could do well there. It doesn't seem like they are growing in the bay area, it seems like their net store count there is down quite a bit the past 5-10 years. I would also...

Re: Rite Aid COVID-19 Tests even if no symptoms?
California is moving this way too, some counties already are doing it. When 80% of the carriers show no symptoms, you need this testing to trace the spread and protect vulnerable populations.
