Re: SpinCo
There is something to be said about having three brands of butter (or any product) as opposed to the dizzying array of brands one sees at the supermarket. It's butter, for God's sake. How different can one be from another. Don't even get me started on peanut butter. Unfortunately the water content ...

Taco Bell brings back Enchirito
Taco Bell has brought back the Enchirito. I decided I'd like to try it again. Doors locked/lights out in the dining area during the late afternoon. Windows, etc. filthy. Against my better judgment and my usual policy of no drive throughs, decided to just go onto the mobile site and do an order to go...

Re: Carson City Smith’s Temporarily Closed
A new sign showed up in the door of the Carson City Smith's this week: a big A rating from the Carson City Health Agency. Businesses in Nevada do not typically display a sign like this, this prominently (such signs are usually in a corner somewhere). The store definitely looks better than it has in ...

Re: Jack In The Box Gets Rid of the Old Munchie Meal Sandwiches
I tried the grilled chicken wrap and it was quite good. I also saw a grilled chicken sandwich at Jack In The Box. Wendy's ended their grilled chicken sandwich in order to start selling grilled chicken wraps. If it is the same grilled chicken they used to put into the pitas it is pretty good. I thin...

Re: Quiznos Expanding With 30 New Restaurants
Playing with their website, they're down to two locations each in the Atlanta and Dallas areas. One in Chicagoland. None in the NYC area. The Denver-area has 5 locations, including one at the airport. Most of their locations appear to be in rural towns, airports & gas stations. The airport and ...

Re: Boston Market
I have multiple times wished my local unit was still open... these grocery store rotisserie chickens are very foul ball or miss (never a hit). Boston Market was basically always a hit or a foul ball at the worst. SW, do you have Sam's where you live? Best rotisserie I've had in a long time. Here we...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores
I hate to say it but Rite Aid may be wise to get Standley back if they can get him back... Or maybe some activist investors somehow gain control and place Standley back in charge... I am surprised Standley left Walgreens. Walgreens sure churns executives since it got involved with Boots. Before Boot...

Re: Coupons wtf?
Target is not supposed to accept any coupon that their system does not validate. I had some coupons that were stickers/attached to a product, the self checkout clerk physically peeled them off the items for me and scanned them and an alert came up "this coupon cannot be accepted at Target."...

Re: Food Source (Raleys) closing Reno, NV
The "Sierra Foods Market" appears to not be returning in any form. The interior of the store was gutted months ago and now they have gone in and put in what look like a bunch of self storage units (??) into the interior of the store. The signs for IGA/Sierra Foods Market are still up as we...

Re: H-Mart coming to the Salt Lake City area
H-Mart appears to be overexpanding.
I wonder if the Utah unit will be like the units around Denver. You have an oddly remodeled former Albertsons and a not very remodeled former Cub. They are supplied by Associated.
