Macy's 2021: 45 locations to close by the Summer
Macy’s has notified the employees at about 45 of its department stores that they will close by the middle of this year, CNBC has learned. The closures are part of a previously announced plan by Macy’s to shut 125 locations by 2023, which the retailer outlined last February. “As previously announced...

Re: JC Penney Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
I find it humorous that a 15-year old had never heard of JCP before. Had they never been to the mall? Or just never ventured down that dark hallway in the mall lined with vacant tenant spaces that led to JCP? I guess the chain hasn't done much marketing in the past 5 years or so. Hey, It might have...

Re: Boston Market
I feel like if Boston Market was well ahead of it's time in terms of fast-casual restaurants. Over the years they have disappeared from my area as well (Philly suburbs, just about all the locations started off as Roy Rogers locations until they almost all but vanished in the mid-90s). I actually hap...

Re: Trouble at Burgerim?
Just another fast-casual fad chain. I imagine we will see many more similar to this one disappear over the next year or so.

Re: Rite Aid Logo Change
then at that one, on the exterior of the building (which is a dark brown color), the Rite Aid part was in white letters... not blue and green. I've noticed this on several updated locations, at least their newer-constructed buildings that have darker colors...white signage on the building itself.

Re: JC Penney Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
Looks like 15 more stores will close by March 2021. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/sh ... 940925001/
Sadly I think this is only the beginning once holiday sales numbers come in.

Re: Walgreens' logo redesigned
It's not a big enough difference for anyone to notice, or care. Amazing that a company that is definitely struggling wastes money on stupid crap like this.

Re: Walmart+
I've noticed with Target where grocery is on a single platform with everything else, you can do a total $35 order and do some ship and some pick up and as long as the total between both is $35 you will get the free shipping. You can also cancel the in-store pickup item right after ordering and stil...
