Re: Free Fast Food

Lots of app deals are drying up. JITB had a good 2-3 year run with some incredible coupons and deal (listed as app exclusives) but in the past several months I have not received a single coupon, and the app deals is just 2 tacos for $1. McDonald's still seems to have the best app deals in my area. ...

Re: Burlington Operations

Macy's Backstage does not sell private labels from the regular Macy's, they go out and find other stuff. Is that a fact? I almost never go into a Macy's, but on my last few walkthrough's, it definitely seemed like a place to dump clearance merchandise from the main store, along with 'outside items'.

Re: Macy's Marketplace To Compete With Ebay

Ew. It's bad enough having to sort through the third party marketplace listings on Walmart and Target.com. This trend needs to die.

Re: Costco heavily pushing Executive Memberships in store?

I expect that the executive reward will move to the Costco App very soon, the same way Sam's Club has moved their Plus reward there. (I think the real reason for moving to a automatic spend or digital program is that they could manage it more like a gift card - right now the entire certificate has ...

Re: Costco heavily pushing Executive Memberships in store?

Employee here. About once a month, usually over a weekend period, they set up 'blocks' on the registers to specifically target people that might benefit from upgrading. Currently however, they are doing it over a 9 day period. That being said, the system is very flawed and it often just flags people...

Re: Amazon Halts All New Amazon Fresh Just Walk Out Stores

Hm....their third PA store is about to open relatively soon...hoping for the Dash carts and not 'Just Walk Out', which I never had the chance to try out, but sounds like a nightmare. That being said the coupon gravy chain has vanished (they've only put out a few category-specific coupons in the last...

Re: Using an Old Receipt to Illustrate Inflation

I've stated many times here I have multiple For U accounts. There is a $1 off digital produce coupon every week. You need more than $1 in total produce - one or more items - for it to apply. It stacks with personalized (Just) For U prices or ad For U coupons. Twice now I have tried using that coupo...

Re: Popeye's Operations

For $3 more you get two biscuits and sides with the $10 'feed two' deal.

Popeye's 'menu prices' always seemed absurdly high to me...I'm always using an App deal when I order.

Re: Stop & Shop closures

Amazon Fresh has Dietz and Watson products in SoCal prepackaged, do they not have them in PA? That would sure be funny, but given how Amazon does things, maybe not surprising. Ok, I guess that' another 'local' thing to add that Amazon sells lol. They do have a Deli counter at Amazon Fresh too but o...

Re: Stop & Shop closures

I don't think the customers interested in local/regional product were at Amazon in the first place. There is also that big customer segment who shops Costco, Wal Mart, Aldi, etc. Funny you mention these three as they have at least made a minimal effort to stock some local items in my area. Costco j...
