Re: Fast Food chains focusing on apps while menu prices skyrocket
This is why Taco Bell is building restaurants with multiple drive thru lanes. Some will be mobile order only lines for fast service. Some restaurants have terrible parking, so I rarely go inside to pick up my mobile orders. Taco Bell is the worst. They gave my order to another person with the same n...

Re: Wal Mart Remove Self Checkouts
Walmart got rid of self checkout in the past week or so at some San Francisco Bay Area stores. The lines are not noticeably longer since there were only 3 or 4 working self checkout machines at any given time. I did notice many staffed registers which is shocking. Previously self checkout had 3 or 4...

Oscar Mayer Plant-based NotHotDogs
Oscar Mayer will be launching plastic-based NotHotDogs and NotSausages later this year.
Will people gladly switch to these plant-based items or will it disappear in a matter of months?

Wendy's Orange Dreamsicle Frosty
Wendy's is replacing the current vanilla Frosty on Tuesday March 19 with the new Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. Chocolate will remain.
I am waiting to see how this turns out. I actually like orange flavored frozen novelties.

Taco Bell No More Menu Boards
The local Oakland area Taco Bell got rid of their inside menu boards. Now they say Order From Kiosk. The menu items and the prices are gone. You just see some photos of food where the menu board was. They don't even have any staff at the counter. If you even manage to find an employee you have to gu...

Re: Dollar Tree - Family Dollar
I wonder if any Dollar Tree closures will be coming. There are armed guards at Dollar Tree stores in the Oakland, California area. Dollar Tree is spending money on guards and they have a security car parked in front of the doors.
Perhaps they are afraid of a door ramming.

Re: Oakland Taco Bell units: Drive Through Only, No Cash Accepted
My mistake. It was not a permanent closure, but apparently the dining rooms were closed super early when I passed by. Perhaps they were short on staff and closed the doors early for the night.

Burger King, McDonald's, and Church's Chicken also just closed their dining rooms.
