Re: More Fred Meyer security issues?

It is the odd Kroger outlet that has something other than Starbucks. I live in Renton, WA but it is not too far to Maple Valley form where I live, I was last in the Maple Valley Fred Meyer and they still had Peet's at that point. But looking on the Starbucks locator, it looks like it is Starbucks in...

Re: Macy’s 2020

In the NW, I can see stores like The Commons in Federal Way closing and the mall becoming a big box Center. Not sure if all the rural stores would go away as some are quite spaced apart. But I could also see Cascade Mall in Burlington closing. Possibly South Hill Mall in Puyallup. Maybe for Kitsap M...

Re: Marathon to acquire Andeavor (Tesoro)

Haven't seen Speedway brand anywhere up here yet, but I've seen a number of stations rebrand to Mobil in the area, including former Tesoro stations and at least 1 or 2 former Shell stations. Up until that happened the Mobil brand was nonexistent here and Exxon was rare. It does appear that the Exxo...

Re: Marathon to acquire Andeavor (Tesoro)

Outside the Renton, WA Walmart there was a USA gas station/c store that has been branded as Mobil the past few years. Both the store and pumps are now Speedway. Is it Speedway or Speedway Express? Nothing in OR/WA is showing up on the Speedway website. I wonder if it is going to be all Speedway Exp...

Re: New Seasons Market To Be Acquired!

It also looks like that the New Seasons banner will disappear from the Seattle market. The Mercer Island store will become Metropolitan Market by mid 2020. The fairly new Ballard store will close and plans for a New Seasons in Central Seattle are cancelled! https://www.seattletimes.com/business/reta...

Re: Kroger "big announcement coming" on branding

I should also note that here in Seattle, Fred Meyer has adopted the “Fresh For Everyone” tagline. This ends a over 20 year run of “What’s on your list today? You’ll find it at Fred Meyer!” This tagline actually started as, “You’ll find it at Freddy’s!” QFC on the other hand still uses, “You know it’...
