In AZ, Safeway is union, Albertsons is not. Safeway has its loyalty card, Albertsons has no card, yet has higher prices than Fry's,Bashas', and Safeway. This probably means that the Albertsons stores/DC get sold off.

There will be huge anti-trust concerns if this happens and they will be required to sell many store...

Apparently LJS forgets that they serve chicken along with fish-the production of chicken is just a dirty as cows and pigs.
And that they use imported fish-which the production/transport of increases pollution.

The first WinCos will be in the DFW area...

In Arizona, Family Dollar stores seem to be popping up in every little settlement (like Paulden, Congress, Mammoth - places with basically a handful of houses) along with the urban areas. They have become the modern "general store"

Apparently Arby's has changed its logo again....the lower case font has been changed to "Arby's" in the Rockford font (no more lower case dreck)

I've noticed here in AZ, the small BP logos have been painted over on the ARCO signage.

In Phoenix, Albertsons is mediocre at best, in pricing and quality. Fry's and WM are cheaper, Bashas' has better baked goods and meat, Safeway has better private label items.

Costco is now selling Craftsman items as well. I now prefer Lowe's Kobalt tools
