What is strange is that the Circle Ks that pump Shell haven’t gotten the new red/orange logo yet. Most of the Phoenix stores have the new logo (and the same lousy old interiors).

More than likely due to the tie-up between Shell and Kroger, which means you can use the fuel points on Fry’s Reward cards at Shell and Circle K sites in Arizona

In New Mexico, all of the Giant locations have been converted to Speedway. Arizona is probably is next, the question is do company owned AM-PMs get converted to Speedway? Target expanded to the west coast and southwest by buying the ex-FedMart sites, and later the ex-Zodys sites

I suspect most of those were ex Albertsons or Safeways near existing Albertsons

EG just announced it is buying Cumberland Farms, which is a major c-store operator on the East Coast-and plans to keep the Cumberland name.
