The Shops at Tanforan To Turn Into Tech Office Space
A Los Angeles developer has purchased the San Bruno mall and will turn it into office space for tech firms. All stores and the movie theater will close. This mall was in a perfect location with a subway station, police station, and a freeway right next to it. The Food Court was very nice and the mul...

Re: Walgreens Closures Continue in San Francisco
A Walgreens in the Financial District at 141 Kearny Street is closing on February 22. San Francisco is suffering from a lack of people returning to their offices to work. The city has many tech companies and they all seem to be working from home. Only 20 percent of workers have returned vs up to 45 ...

Re: CVS Pharmacies Closing For Lunch Nationwide
I have experienced the lunch time line at the pharmacy that I work at. Customers will complain and demand to speak to a manager. In fact, some refuse to leave and will even try to hold the gate open. It has gotten to the point where we almost had to call the police. Some people are crazy. I had a wo...

Re: Subway...what a joke
COVID testing centers are in high demand. Appointments are sought after. The funeral business is booming. So many more people are dying. My father died and we had to wait months before he was cremated. There were so many COVID deaths that the crematorium could not keep up with the demand. The shoppi...

CVS Pharmacies Closing For Lunch Nationwide
Starting February 28, CVS Pharmacies will close 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch nationwide. This is standard practice at some other pharmacies when there is only 1 pharmacist on duty. Some pharmacies allow the pharmacy to operate without a Pharmacist in the pharmacy if the pharmacist is at lunch in another p...

Re: Subway...what a joke
This shopping center had some recent sudden closures. Great Clips closed suddenly and was cleared out in just days ready for a new tenant. It turned into a COVID testing site. The Pizza Hut closed and was transformed into a funeral home just a short time later. Pizza to cremations!

Re: Subway...what a joke
The Subway that I drive by every workday suddenly closed. The entire restaurant has been emptied. I never went in there, but the time it took to close was phenomenal. I do not know why it would close as the busy shopping center has a Walmart with no restaurant inside. There were many in the area onl...

Re: Free Masks
There are ways to make a mask safe again. You could put it in a paper bag and let it dry out. The virus particles should be harmless after a day or so. The real danger is from virus particles floating in the air that get into the lungs. Kroger is terrible for leaving them out, but they can still be ...

Re: Retail Slowdown
I think that there is a migration of customers to Costco. Safeway was not busy, but Costco seemed busy. Customers are seeking out the lowest prices and end up at Costco. Even Walmart seems to be losing customers to Costco.
