Paris Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Credit Card System Failures
Disney's credit card system in France at their theme parks suffered recent outages. Park guests were unable to use credit or debit cards to make purchases of food or merchandise. The lines for the few ATMs were outrageously long. Disney seems to be so behind on technology. I remember back in 2019 at...

Re: Louie Vuitton Store Robbed By Multiple People
They have caught some suspects and have charged them with felonies. Even the District Attorney is saying that these thieves should be prosecuted. He is changing his stance to being tough on robberies now since he is danger of being recalled. Many local District Attorneys are now working together to ...

Re: Target Closing 2 Small Stores in the San Francisco Bay Area
Target hours are unchanged in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco stores still close at 6 PM and the suburban stores close at 10 PM. Walmart also seems to open earlier on Black Friday at 5 AM vs the regular 6 AM opening time. Closing times remain the same. Late night is the time for mob ro...

Re: Amazon Fresh's cashierless plan falling short
It seems like shoplifting at buffets and shoplifting of merchandise is a problem with Amazon's brick and mortar stores. This is why big retail chains want to move to online shopping. They want to avoid the losses from shoplifting. Now that Amazon is moving towards physical stores, they will have mas...

Re: Target closing on Thanksgiving
Online shopping is much less exhausting than in-store shopping. I think that people prefer that stores are closed on Thanksgiving as it gives them time to rest and they can order with out any physical exertion. The worst part of Black Friday is all the waiting in lines, walking miles in stores, and ...

Re: Target closing on Thanksgiving
Sales on Thanksgiving were probably not that great. If employees are standing around doing nothing, it is not worth it to pay them. Retail stores realize that they have to keep their employees somewhat happy or else they will quit. A holiday twice a year on Thanksgiving and Christmas might be enough...

Oakland Pot Dispensaries Complain About Security
Oakland Pot dispensaries are upset with the police department for not providing enough security. They are saying why should they have to pay for their own security when the police should provide them with protection. There have been some gun battles in front of local pot dispensaries. The pot dispen...

Re: Short staffed restaurants
I went to a Jack In The Box in the San Francisco Bay Area and they were out of practically everything. No nuggets, chicken strips, fries, teriyaki bowls, etc. The lines were out of control. Do they say that just so they have less work to do?
They were also out of napkins.

Re: Albertsons’ Soaring Prices
I saw a large amount of Patti Labelle sweet potato pies at Walmart. They are very popular. I like them, but they give me a stomach ache.
