Re: Discussion: Convenience stores / gasoline retailers

Are there still gas shortages? In California, the prices are not much higher and there is plenty of gas.

Re: Boston Market

The employees probably all quit after having to deal with customers in the dining room face to face.

Re: Stores Dropping Mask Requirements

The dropping of the requirement seems like it is more for reasons of no longer confronting customers. Now the employees no longer have to risk angering anti-mask customers. The employees are less likely to get injured or attacked. If customers want to confront anti-mask customers, that is up to them...

Re: Stores Dropping Mask Requirements

The mask dropping policies seem to be for economic reasons. Some of these stores do not want to turn away customers for a lack of mask. They just want to make as many sales as possible. Now people have to buy N95 or KN95 masks to protect themselves now. I have been wearing KN95 masks for a while. Th...

Re: McDonalds tear down and rebuilds: Local Take

<t>There was a Burger King near me with solarium windows on a large scale. It was like a large greenhouse so you could see the sky and the forested hills. It closed about a year ago rather than remodel. It was the most extravagant 80s style thing I had seen in a long time. It would do nicely as a fi...

Re: Bakery - "Healthy" stores

Sprouts has a mediocre bakery. I see some really small cake slices in very limited flavors. They are so small that it is rip off. No other supermarket has cake slices that small. The other Bakery items are usually expiring that day and rock hard stale. They have jalapeño bread so spicy that it will ...

Re: Stores Dropping Mask Requirements

I saw some homeless type people in Walmart unmasked today. I would be afraid of tuberculosis also. Many homeless people pickup medications for tuberculosis. There is no vaccine for that. I also noticed at my pharmacy that many released criminals need their second COVID vaccine. They get their first ...

Stores Dropping Mask Requirements

Trader Joe's is letting vaccinated people go mask free in their stores. Walmart will allow customers and employees who are vaccinated to go mask-less. How are you supposed to verify if they had the vaccine? There were several fully vaccinated sports players who tested positive anyway. I do not know ...

Re: McDonalds tear down and rebuilds: Local Take

The interior playgrounds are really not that great. I have seen some that only had interactive tables. The table is a translucent plastic table with lights in it. When you touch the table the lights in the table change colors and change brightness. It might be fun for a few minutes, but it is not th...
