Re: Coronavirus and wearing masks in stores

I wonder how this works at the self serve gas stations. First there is the issue of people who get out of the car and start pumping with no mask. Do they get stopped in the middle of fueling? Very few people wear a mask while driving their car so now you want the customer to put a mask on and then ...

Re: Wendy's Takes Beef Off The Menu

We don't have ChikFilA here but I heard in some cases they weren't opening up yet.

The Wendy's here has two windows, but never uses the pay one, you just pay and pick up at the second one. I've never seen a Wendy's with a two speaker/menu setup like BK or McDonald's have.

Re: Wendy's Takes Beef Off The Menu

I usually order the four for $4, and I noticed a few items covered up last week on the drive thru menu. I did order the junior cheeseburger though, so they had that. We'll see this Friday. I've been limiting myself to one time of eating out a week, since this mess, and it's been mostly Wendy's for a...

Re: Coronavirus and Empty Restaurants

I haven't felt comfortable going out since this whole mess started, so I haven't been inside a store or restaurant in over a month now, which was just before the whole mask decision came into place. I don't like wearing masks, so I'm just staying away entirely. I understand the need for them, but I ...

Re: Coronavirus and wearing masks in stores

I have not been to any stores since the whole mask thing gained popularity by the CDC. But last few times I've driven through parking lots and observed people entering stores, I've noticed a lot of people aren't wearing them. Some couples I see one with a mask and one without, which I find rather od...

Re: Coronavirus and Empty Restaurants

The local Chinese take out restaurant has added a Plexiglas barrier at their counter. There is a tube to pass payment through and a door to pass the food through. The rest is blocked with Plexiglas.

Re: Sears/Kmart: Will 2020 be the end?

Kmart doesn't really have a bed/bath department anymore. All of those aisles now have seasonal goods (Easter this week, spread out over the 4 or 5 aisles, at 90% off). There is a single aisle of very few towels stocked and a few random bath accessories. I've seen a better spread of bed/bath product...

Re: Restaurant Reopenings

I would like to know exactly how they are going to enforce a mask requirement in a restaurant where people go to eat. You can't eat with a mask on. Maybe they have to keep the mask on until they get seated and the food comes to the table? Doesn't make any sense to me, and then taking off the mask t...

Re: Restaurant Reopenings

This will not be the long term future of restaurants. I think people are going overboard on saying that everything is going to be this or that way permanently in the future. Things will eventually settle down and get back to normal. But the virus has to no longer be a threat first. Employees handlin...
