Re: The Container Store - New "Custom Closets" Stores
No, wait - I don't think it was Hold Everything. That was a Williams-Sonoma concept. I think it was an Organized Living store.

Re: The Container Store - New "Custom Closets" Stores
The location used to be a different home organization retailer whose name I forgot. I think it was called Hold Everything or something similar. That parking lot is actually the best kept secret if you just need to get something quick at Farmer's Market or The Grove. The turnover is really quick and...

Re: Portland, Ore. receiving first stand-alone CVS Pharmacy
OK, that makes sense that it's what the insurance wants to pay for, and also that they would allow it elsewhere in some cases (or perhaps they just make it sound like they won't figuring most people won't bother to check further and that way they'll get to keep most of the business). I think Anthem...

Re: The Container Store - New "Custom Closets" Stores
The Container Store appears to be introducing a new type of store Custom Closets . They've already converted the existing Farmers Market (Los Angeles) location to a Custom Closets store; apparently they only carry closet-related merchandise (although you can still do online ordering/pick up in stor...

Re: New Amazon Grocery Chain
More news outlets are reporting on an Amazon grocery store chain that will have fresh departments accessible to consumers and basically center store in a large "backroom" where customers will make center store selections on an app and then these items will be brought to consumers at check...

Re: Portland, Ore. receiving first stand-alone CVS Pharmacy
... Not sure on other chains, but our local supermarket pharmacy has no problem doing 90 day refills, so not sure why others would not want to do them. According to my health plan (Anthem) they only cover 90-day refils at CVS. Safeway supports them and so does Walgreens, but as an Anthem member I h...

Re: Kroger: Fee for cash back with PIN Debit at some locations
1995 called and wants its fee schedule back.
The article mentions a $6 fee for cashback between $2,001 and $9,999. Do they really allow that much cash back? Hell, do they even keep that much cash in the til?
Unbelievable.

Re: Dillards
I have found Dillard's to offer excellent quality collared button down dress shirts in their house brand. Quality is beyond words better than Macy's where the stuff wears out after a year or two at best. ... Their house brand appears to be made by whoever made Nordstrom's brand. Like you, I buy the...

Re: Portland, Ore. receiving first stand-alone CVS Pharmacy
There is one stand-alone CVS pharmacy (that I know of) here in Phoenix. It is located across from Banner-University Hospital in Central Phoenix. If I'm not mistaken it is located within one of the hospital's clinics. There was one in San Diego, but it appears to have closed. My insurance carrier (An...
