Re: Sam's Crackdown on Membership Sharing
When will Sam's Club Crack down on membership deal abuse. Right now you can get the $25 online membership sign up deal. You could have any other family member sign up and then you get a second card for a family member. People will sign up with different emails or add an apartment number to your addr...

Re: Costco Door Scanning Rolling Out
I just pick up some free gloves from the 7-Eleven Slurpee machine or some free gas mits from a Shell station. Then I have free gloves to use at self checkout machines.

Re: Save Mart loses lease-Tahoe City, CA
What decor will this Safeway have? Will this use the Pavilions decor that is showing up in many recently remodeled stores in Northern California? Or will it receive the cheap Florida decor?

Re: Costco Door Scanning Rolling Out
Costco self checkout is terrible since there are no handheld scanners. I had to lift huge items onto the scanner and then onto the weighing pad. There are so many heavy bulk items at Costco. I would rather have a cashier at a compact cash register scan my items. It is a time consuming process to lif...

Re: Costco Door Scanning Rolling Out
Perhaps Costco should have express lanes with a 10 item limit and use a cash register without the bulky conveyor belt. This would fit more registers and eliminate the issue with the self checkout not being able to handle more than 5 items.

Re: Gov Newsom leaves Panera Exempt from CA Min Wage?
What if McDonald's had planned CosMc's all along so that they could open up CosMc's in California under a lower wage scale? The restaurants would gradually expand the menu to include practically everything on the McDonald's menu.

Re: Gov Newsom leaves Panera Exempt from CA Min Wage?
The exception for chains that have less than 60 locations is interesting. What if McDonald's rebranded their restaurants? For example, rebrand 59 restaurants as Ronald McDonald's Hamburgers or Grimace's Burgers. Would that allow below $20 per hour wages?

Del Taco Deals
Del Taco is offering 20 percent off orders until March 31 for Rewards members. There aren't that many in my area of the San Francisco Bay Area. Taco Bell seems dominant here. However, in the Sacramento area there are 24 hour locations. There used to be one in Oakland at a gas station near the In-N-O...

Re: McDonald's and Krispy Kreme
I have tried the Krispy Kreme donuts at Walmart that are supposedly delivered every morning. They seem decently fresh. Maybe there would be a delivery truck driving to every McDonald's in the morning. I assume that McDonald's would heat up the donuts either like the chocolate chip cookies or the hot...

Re: Tabletop tablets in chain restaurants
That QR code scam is scary. Exxon and Mobil have QR code stickers on their gas pumps. It would be easy for criminals to post fake QR codes on these pumps. I have used the QR codes in the past. It was only recently that I soley use the ExxonMobil app to pay. I believe it was the Walmart app that let ...
