Kroger recently (within the last week) rolled out delivery with Harris Teeter (part of Ocado) in the Washington DC area. Really begs the question why they're investing in this if they basically want to discard Harris Teeter in the area anyway. (Unless the merger falls through, of course, then it's ...

Kroger Marketplace 2.0
https://www.supermarketnews.com/retail-financial/kroger-breaks-ground-first-marketplace-store Interestingly being touted as the "first" Kroger Marketplace, despite the concept having existed since 2004 (and earlier at Smitty's and Fry's), this is a previously-announced store in Plano, Tex...

Re: TransformCo (Sears/Kmart) Official Thread 2023: Finally the end?
Guam Kmart has sold its pharmacy to something called "Super Drug." The pharmacy is remaining inside the store. Also it appears "Super Drug" is owned by the Pay Less Foods chain in Guam. Also the Pay Less Foods Chain in Guam has a little 3k square foot natural foods store called ...

Re: TransformCo (Sears/Kmart) Official Thread 2023: Finally the end?
Their Facebook page made it look like they were steadily receiving merchandise. https://www.facebook.com/westwood3202/ I guess they needed to receive items to have a successful liquidation sale. So basically after this just that NY Kmart is left as far as full size US units go. Guam Kmart- we will ...

Re: 2023 Lidl closings
I'm not convinced... this small closing round and Lidl is near bankruptcy?
