Home Improvement Shortages
Sherwin William's says that there is a shortage of paint due to a shortage of raw ingredients. Even Walmart is running low on paint.
There is also a Lumber shortage for home building.

Halloween Stores
It seems like there has been an increase in Halloween stores this year. Normally, you just see Spirit Halloween, but now I see many other independent or lesser known Halloween stores. You can find them just blocks away from each other. There certainly are plenty of abandoned stores available. I even...

Re: Taco Bell Introduces A Fried Chicken Sandwich
I do not know how they can even pay their rent if the restaurant is closed so often. There are Taco Bell locations in the San Francisco Bay Area with no drive thru that are open 10 AM to 8 PM or 9 PM. These locations are really tiny storefronts and have terrible staffing issues. There are never enou...

Re: Taco Bell Introduces A Fried Chicken Sandwich
Wow! I had a totally different experience. The chicken I received was totally petrified like a rock. It must have been a bad batch.
I also experienced some weird app error today which said that the restaurant closes at 4 pm. I assume it was an error as it is normally open until 1 am.

Taco Bell Introduces A Fried Chicken Sandwich
This new "chicken sandwich" is supposed to compete with Popeye's and Chick-fil-a in the chicken sandwich wars. What I received was a dried up rock of fried meat in a thin piece of folded bread. It looked like a turd in a soft taco shell. I am pretty sure most people are so disappointed in ...

Re: Walmart observations
Some Walmart stores underwent remodels a few years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area and those were very organized. Walmart uses their own store employees for remodeling. The employees get scheduled starting at midnight and rearrange the shelves so that floor tiles can be removed. The problem is tha...

Re: Coin shortage... is back
It could be a regional issue or it could be the armored truck company. I believe Walmart uses Loomis for its coin and bill supply. Which company does CVS use? Loomis probably blames a coin shortage when in real life they have an employee shortage. Either the employees can't source enough coins or th...

This is truly baffling. Is the chain desperate to cut labor costs?

Re: Coin shortage... is back
A friend who works for Walmart told me Walmart only had nickels and pennies. The armored car company is out of dimes and quarters. Walmart cash registers are now doing an automatic rounding on your receipt. Say you owe $9.99. You pay $10. Walmart will give you back $1 since the register has no chang...
