Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores

Additional closures per Pacer filing done 10/24, Docket Number 236 Interesting thing about these is they still have vaccine appointments ongoing you can schedule in December etc. no cut off for the vaccine scheduling... (not sure the 6934 store since that is a Bartell, not sure where to search for ...

Re: Best Buy to Discontinue Physical Media

What is funny is the closing Rite Aid has a little section of CDs and DVDs, some of them look like they've been there for 20 years. The price for the store closing sale was $1 for DVDs and 75% off CDs. In some countries though this physical media is still much more of a "thing." RAD was a...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores

Not the tone I would have preferred to set with my 500th post,but... When 7900 Arcadia was told of their closure on 5/8/2018,it came as a shock out of the blue.It was well kept for an RA-1 though never remodeled into either version of the wellness package. During my first 18-20 months at 5409 Sunris...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores

154 stores will close as part of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy, mostly in California, New York state, and Pennsylvania. The full list is here . 19 Michigan stores will be among those closed. Greenville is a store that is so old it uses the stripes decor from the late 80s-early 90s, and a good number of...

Re: Save Mart loses lease-Tahoe City, CA

Unless I looked wrong on Google Maps, the Save Mart looks a hair smaller than the Safeway.Considering neither has a pharmacy,I wonder how planned redevelopment of the current Safeway property will affect the CVS as there there doesn't appear to be competing pharmacies in Tahoe City itself.

Re: Two of remaining five Skipper's restaurants closing

As late as the mid-1990's Skippers had quite a few locations in and around Sacramento. An independent diner operates out of the former Citrus Heights location, and there was definitely a Rancho Cordova location as well. There were likely other area locations as well.

Re: Eddie Bauer dumbs down logo for GenZ

IIRC Eddie Bauer hasn't had any local locations since their Citrus Heights 'outlet store' closed around 2010(demolished for Sprouts).I know they had a licensing arrangement with the Ford trucks line though I'm uncertain about the current status.

Re: End of an era:Curtain to fall on Valley Fair Safeway after 67 years

Pinole at the Appian 80 Center is still unremodeled as is South San Francisco Chestnut. Also the San Leandro Pak N Save. Also Lovelock, NV. I think those are NorCal division's last 4 non Lifestyle (or Florida) interior stores. I'm not sure how to classify 298 King in San Francisco as it has element...
