Re: What's the history behind outdoor and indoor PlayPlaces??
I know of one McDonald's in the San Francisco Bay Area in San Ramon that remodeled to the newest decor and kept the indoor playground. This one is the tall version with ladders and plastic slides. I would say this is the kind for active kids to exercise. It is up to the individual owner of the locat...

Re: Vons for Business?
When I worked at a Structural Engineering company, the receptionist would order snacks and drinks to stock the office refrigerator from Safeway.com There are many little offices all over that prefer the convenience of delivery over cost. The company was profitable and free snacks were unlimited. The...

Auto Repair Businesses Closing Early
The Big O Tires in my area of the San Francisco Bay Area have recently reduced hours. They used to close around 8:30. Now many close at 5:30, 6, or 7 at the latest. America's Tire seems to close at 6 now. It used to be 8 PM. Are people just spending less on car repairs or is it the auto repair shops...

Re: Burlington closing Carson City, NV location
Burlington had done some crazy stuff over the past couple of years that is really annoying customers. They closed off the restrooms and have put up rope lines outside in front of the entrance doors. It is like you are lining up to get into an exclusive club. It isn't COVID anymore. I don't know why ...

Re: Here come the price increases!
The local Togo's Sandwich shop is really understaffed today. They have stopped putting out chairs to eat outdoors. Apparently they think this will make for less cleanup since there is no more outdoor dining.

Re: Wal Mart Remove Self Checkouts
Inventory workers are extremely prone to errors. They may under count many items. Scanning items at such a speed misses much.

Re: Sam's Crackdown on Membership Sharing
I had a Sam's Club Membership years ago. I am surprised to hear of all these changes. Perhaps I should take a look sometime soon.

Re: Wal Mart Remove Self Checkouts
The self checkout machines at some San Francisco Bay Area Walmart stores are now open only to those who have Walmart Plus Memberships. This hasn't impacted the lines at my local store that much as there were only about 3 working self checkout machines. They were constantly breaking down. Very few pe...
