Re: Save Mart Porterville, CA Remodeled

The latest flooring in remodeled Ralphs locations is better than anything I see in this thread. The flooring in the Kroger is something Ralphs started using 8 years ago and it does not last. It will start to buckle within 2 years or less. Although I don't believe it is the nicest supermarket I have ...

Re: Haggen to close, liquidate 100 more stores

Re: Haggen to close, liquidate 100 more stores

Spencers is going in way over their head taking that Arroyo Grande Haggen over. They already failed in Arroyo Grande and Atascadero with two former 35k or so square foot former Lucky Stores. Actually I think Smart & Final or Grocery Outlet or someone got the lease out from under them in Arroyo ...

Re: Haggen to close, liquidate 100 more stores

Now, what it can do for SoCal is brand more stores as Lucky...Save Mart only has the Northern California license, and a few stores that were operated by SVU have gotten back in Albertsons' hands...plus Lucky did have a following in the Hispanic market...and that all is better than an unestablished ...

Re: Haggen to close, liquidate 100 more stores

In total, 17 locations including the Arroyo Grande site were pulled from the auction because of lease issues between two Haggen entities, OPCO and PROPCO. Even so, the highest bidders are still in line to purchase those locations after the court irons out issues with the lease holder’s contracts. ht...

Re: Haggen to close, liquidate 100 more stores

It appears CouponsInTheNews.com has updated the list of the stores that have been won at auction and those that are still remaining to be sold. Still quite a few to be sold and some that (such as both Redondo Beach locations) are in quite nice neighborhoods. http://couponsinthenews.com/2015/11/06/wh...
